About the Solid State show last night. [22 Nov 2004|04:28pm] [ mood | Thankful ] [ music | Name Taken - Cover Up ] Well, I woke up and my Lloyd Norman came over while Allison was still at work. We worked on some So She Sang shit and that was fun and dandy. Allison got home and we all smoked a lil bit and then Lloyd left and Allison took me down to the Complex. I got there around 4:45. So, The Chariot showed up at 5:20, and to my suprise they were all wonderful fucking dudes. Extremely polite and appreciative of everything they had. Far-Less and As Cities Burn showed up around 7:15, and Showbread around 7:30. Again, I was surprised to find that each and every members of those bands were amazingly polite and awesome. He Is Legend were running late, and got their when As Cities Burn were starting their set (As Cities Burn played 2nd). They were odd gentleman to say the LEAST, but fun. As for the show, all the bands did well. Didn't really dig Far-Less, As Cities Burn I was kind of impressed with, He Is Legend were really good, I didn't get to watch Showbread much because I was up front at the door and dealing with the Dead To Fall drama. The Chariot took the stage around midnight (the show went late as fuck!) and were so damn good. I've heard from all over that the throwdown and go crazy, but play sloppily. They were pretty fucking tight and were really fun and entertaining to watch. So anyway, I needed 146 people to show up, and I only had 94 show up. BAD! But, thanks to a few kind souls that chipped in extra $$ out of their pocket, the bands met their guarantees and the venue got paid. After the show got over, we cleaned up the Complex with Matt and Robyn and just chilled with guys from The Chariot and He Is Legend. Finally, He Is Legend went to IHOP and The Chariot took off the Little Rock. Allison, myself, Matt, and Robyn (didn't smoke) smoked 2 bowls and just fucking chilled in the Complex's dressing room after a long fucking day/night. Now it's about 1:30 in the morning, and we head to IHOP to join He Is Legend and Cat, PattyNLT, BillyNLT, JonSTS, and Lauren Brown for breakfast. Man, IHOP sucked dick this morning. It took 45 minutes for them to get us our food. Those fucking bastards. We didn't end up leaving IHOP until about 4:30 in the morning. Then we rode around with Patty Mayo and did some stuff, then came home and went to bed around 7ish I think. He Is Legend are staying in Memphis again tonight, so I think we're fucking taking them all around and shit a little later tonight. It should be fun, those guys are strange fun. It's cool. P.S. I've lost all respect for Dead To Fall. They used to be one of my favorite metal bands out there, but not anymore. There was no reason for them to jump down Allison's throat for no fucking reason. Fuck that shit. Fuck Dead To Fall. I will never listen to one of their songs ever again. Leave a comment.

We fliered (I just forgot how to spell fliered) at the Wolfchase mall for the Solid State show on Sunday. We went over to Dimitri and Mark's apartment and got really fucked up with everyone while watching the Memphis game and playing poker. We went to Wal-Mart and then came home and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas (well half of it). Now we got really high off the resin in our piper tiger!
